Are you planning your first trip to Keystone Resort in Colorado? Did you start researching your lodging options and then quickly realize that there are A LOT of different places to stay? You can choose from hotels, condos, townhomes, and private homes. Since Keystone is a huge resort and full of activities, restaurants, and shops, your family needs to stay at a prime location with plenty of room to play. We have found that prime location, and are going to give you an inside look of The Springs at Keystone Resort.
The Condos at The Springs at Keystone Resort
The Springs is located in the River Run area of Keystone resort and offers 1-3 bedroom condos. Each condo is individually owned and decorated, so keep that in mind when viewing our condo pictures.
Condos at The Springs are rated premier or standard. Premier condos have top quality appliances, nice furnishings, flat screen televisions, and quality finishes (counter tops, fixtures, etc.). Standard condos are still very nice, just lacking in the upgrades.

The comfortable living room. The balcony is just to the right and the couch is facing a fireplace. Nice!
The kitchens and bathrooms are stocked quite well for a condo. Each condo is different, since they are individually owned, but we have always had everything we needed.
Kitchens include a dishwasher and detergent, garbage disposal, stove, refrigerator, toaster, coffee pot and Starbucks coffee, dishes, utensils, cookware, glasses, towels, and more.

Don’t worry, there’s a dishwasher!
Bathrooms are stocked with full size bottles of soap, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. Just don’t take them home unless you feel they are worth the price that’s posted. There are plenty of towels, tissues and toilet paper too.

The condos that we have stayed in also included a humidifier, vacuum, and extra blankets. Each bedroom had a tv and dvd player, and there is wifi throughout.

This is the master bedroom in our two bedroom. The master bath and a closet are to the left.
Why are the condos at The Springs at Keystone Resort family friendly? Besides the options of 1-3 bedrooms, there is also plenty of room to relax. The living and dining area is open, even open to the balcony or patio in the summer. There is seating for everyone at the bar and table for eating, and the full kitchen is pretty convenient to have. Your family will save some money by eating a meal or two in the condo.

Save some money, and stay in for breakfast!
Outside of your condo, The Springs at Keystone Resort offers a few unique amenities that your whole family will love.
Family Fun Inside The Springs at Keystone Resort
Sure, your days are going to be busy! Depending on the time of year, your family will be skiing, mountain biking, hiking, or hanging out by the pool. Once you return to The Springs, the fun doesn’t have to stop!
Inside The Springs, there are common areas that offer plenty for your family to do! Your youngest family members will love spending time in the kids playroom. There are plenty of toys and a fun two level house for them to play in. This was a favorite area of my kid’s during their first trips to Keystone!

How many times will your kids go upstairs in the playhouse and peek out the windows?

When’s the last time you took a moment to relax in a rocking chair?
Right outside the door to the little kid’s playroom, is the “bigger” kids playroom. This area is a popular place in the evenings, and I have witnessed multiple kids being taught the game of pool at this table.

Anyone up for a game of pool?
See that doorway behind the pool table? That leads to the theater room! Yes, there are plenty of movies to choose from, or bring your favorite dvd from home. Pop up some popcorn and relax in those comfy chairs.

The super comfy seating in the theater!

Front row seats in front of the big screen!
The common area of The Springs also houses the fitness center, sauna, and seating in front of the huge fireplace. There is also a fountain that leads outside to the fun pool area….read on for details!

You can pick up your daily newspaper here and read it in front of the fire.
The Pool at The Springs at Keystone Resort
This is one of the top pools at all of Keystone Resort, no matter what time of year it is! The pool area is another reason why your family is going to love staying at The Springs.

See the gazebo? That’s always our spot for hanging out in the shade.
If you have a room on the first floor facing the pool, you will also have a patio that is open right to the pool area. We thought this was great when our kids were little, because we could easily run back and forth between the room and pool. The patios are set far enough back from the pool, so they still offer some privacy.
The pool area at The Springs has a zero entry pool for the little kids, and there’s even an opening in the “stone” so they can peek thru to the bigger pool with the slide.

The kiddie pool…always nice and warm!
Hot tubs are always important at a ski resort, and The Springs has two of them. One is only for adults, and the other is for the whole family to relax in.

The family hot tub.

This one’s only for the adults, but isn’t there always that one kid who has to go in there?
The pool area also has a pretty fire pit that is busy in the evenings, and gas grills available for use anytime of day.

Stay warm around the firepit no matter what time of year.
The pool area is a secure area and can be accessed by your room key. You will also need your room key to get back into the main building.

The pool can be busy at times, but we’ve never had a problem getting a lounge chair.
Why else will your family love The Springs at Keystone Resort? Well, it couldn’t be closer to River Run Village and the River Run Gondola. Your family is staying just steps away from the shops, restaurants, ski school, lifts and gondola.
Your whole family is going to have a fantastic trip to Keystone Resort whether you visit in the winter for some prime skiing, or visit in the summer for some biking and relaxing!
